Vote for your favourite Hackney landmark…and see it featured on a London 2012 pin!
VOTES are being invited to choose a favourite Hackney landmark that is to feature on a badge to commemorate the 2012 London Olympics.
The Hackney Empire and St Augustine’s Tower in Mare Street, Hackney Central, Sutton House in Homerton High Street, Homerton and Hackney Marshes are the four candidates to have been chosen to represent the borough on the celebratory set of badges.
The ‘Landmark London’ vote is being run by the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) in partnership with the capital’s 33 local authorities, who have compiled the nomination shortlist.
Borough residents have until midnight on Sunday, October, 18 to cast their vote at www.london2012.com.
