Hospitality and Leisure

The Hospitality and Leisure sector has grown rapidly in recent years.

Hackney’s restaurants reflect the Borough’s diverse cultural mix with several award winning Turkish Restaurants in Dalston, a Vietnamese cluster in Hackney Central and a growing range of upmarket restaurants in Shoreditch including Jamie Olivers Fifteen and the Hoxton Apprentice.

Its proximity to the city also makes it a perfect location for hotels like the newly-opened and independent four star St Gregory hotel in Shoreditch, which has over 196 rooms and state of the art conference facilities.

Hackney loves to play too. The borough boasts a dizzying range of bars and clubs and plays host to some of the capitals key arts and cultural organisations including the White Cube Gallery, Hackney Empire and Ocean.
